WOBURN, MA—Two suspects have been arrested after a chase with State Police broke out Wednesday morning.

State police spokesperson Dave Procopio told Patch that at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Lawrence police attempted to stop a Jeep Cherokee in attempt to further an ongoing investigation. The driver of the Jeep refused to pull over and fled on to Rte. 495 South. State troopers later joined the pursuit, following the Jeep on on to Rte. 38 in Woburn.

Odain Mark, 20, of Hyde Park jumped out of the jeep while on Ward St., later making his way to the Woburn Racquet Club. Police were able to arrest Mark inside the club. Mark was arrested on charges stemming from an outstanding warrant for resisting arrest, as well as various motor vehicle charges.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Woburn District Court, but it is unclear whether or not that will happen on Wednesday.

The driver of the jeep, identified as 23-year-old Keith Jones of Boston, later made his way to Wilmington and was arrested in the parking lot of Shawsheen Elementary school, according to a statement from Wilmington Police.

A State Police K-9 named Dakota suffered a minor leg injury and is expected to be okay.
