Summer Concert Series Begins Thursday

The McTeggarts concert, sponsored by Sean Coakley and Atlantic Power Cleaning Corporation, will kick off the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. 

The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series is a collection of free concerts designed to promote community spirit organized by , the  and WREN (Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network), and sponsored by local businesses. A special thank you goes out to the City of Woburn, Tucker Quinn and the Woburn DPW for providing a stage and helping with other concert logistics.

This year’s concert series will again be held at Ice House Park at Horn Pond. Ice House Park is the name of the flat grassy area that runs along Sturgis Street, to the right of the boat ramp. For your comfort and enjoyment, please remember to bring folding chairs or a blanket and insect repellant.

We have an exciting lineup of bands scheduled this year! All the concerts will be held on a Friday during the summer from 7 to 9 p.m., unless a rain date is needed.
