Teens Charged After 20-Mile Police Chase Through Woburn

Five teens in a stolen car led police on a chase which ran through Woburn early Monday morning.

Multiple teenagers have been charged after they led Massachusetts State Police on a 20-mile chase from Woburn to North Andover early Monday morning, the Eagle-Tribune reports.

According to police, the teenage driver was operating a stolen 2001 Toyota Corolla with four other juveniles in the car.

Officers were forced to utilize stop sticks to puncture the car’s tires after the driver ignored the flashing lights of pursuing officers.

The driver was forced to pull the car over on Route 114 around 2 a.m. Several cruisers immediately surrounded the car, police say.

Astride Reyes, 18, two 14-year-olds and two 15-year-olds, were all charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, according to state police.
