Text To 911 Now Available For Reporting Emergencies In MA

BOSTON, MA -- People in Massachusetts can now text 911 to report emergencies. The state's 911 Department said this week that the capability to report messages to emergency personnel officially went online after a test phase. The department has been using the slogan "Call if you can, text if you can't" to promote the new feature.
