Tour de Cure Comes to Woburn Next Weekend
The ride to raise money for diabetes research and awareness will stop by the Bay State for the New England Classic.

Woburn, MA – The Tour de Cure, a bike race for diabetes research spanning hundreds of miles, will begin its 2016 New England Classic in Woburn next weekend.
Participants have the option of riding in either a 150-mile or 550-mile race. The two-day, 150-mile tour takes riders from Woburn through the Merrimack Valley and into New Hampshire on the first day, finishing on the coast of Southern Maine on the second. The seven-day, 550-mile tour continues into the White Mountains of New Hampshire, across the Connecticut River Valley into Vermont and on to the Green Mountains, before returning to Massachusetts through the Monadnock region of New Hampshire.
The money raised by the tour goes to the American Diabetes Association and funds diabetes research, information programs and advocacy efforts for the nearly 30 million Americans with diabetes and 86 million with pre-diabetes.

Both tours begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 9 at Parker Chomerics, 77 Dragon Ct. in Woburn.
