   Woburn Reads, sponsored by the Friends of the Woburn Public Library, concludes with a tour of Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the collections, highlighted by the art of Matisse, Degas, John Singer Sargent, and Titian. Imagine the missing masterpieces in their empty frames!

   The museum was modeled after renaissance palaces of Venice.  The building completely surrounds a glass-covered courtyard. Relax in this courtyard, surrounded by the splendor of luscious greenery and beautiful statuary.

   Tickets for this tour have sold out. The bus will leave from the Woburn Public Library at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 2. The tour, which lasts an hour, begins at 12:30.  Prior to the tour you may explore special exhibits and visit the gift shop.
