Two New Restaurants Open In Woburn As Arcenia’s Cucina Rustica Closes
A team of restaurateurs behind popular Boston restaurants opens Matadora Wednesday in the Woburn Hilton.

WOBURN, MA -- Matadora, the brainchild of a group of restaurant owners behind the popular Boston dining spots Yvonne’s, Ruka, and Lolita, will open tonight in the Hilton Boston-Woburn. The restaurant will offer a menu of Spanish tapas and be operated by Coje Management, which is also planning a downtown Boston cigar bar.
The restaurant opens at 5 pm and will be open for breakfast and dinner. According to Eater Boston, which first reported on Matadora's opening, diners can expect menu items like charred octopus, seared wild mushrooms, and flaming chorizo.

Separately, Eater notes that Arcenia’s Cucina Rustica at 428 Main Street closed and has been replaced by another Italian restaurant, Fortunato's. Arcenia's had been listed in Boston's Hidden Restuarants as a good place to grab wood-fired pizza and Southern Italian dishes. Fortunato's is offering a menu that features a mix of regional and traditional Italian items, including antipasti, pizza, calzones, pasta dishes, and veal and chicken options.
