Violent Crime, Property Crime Rates Down In Woburn Between 2015 And 2016, According To FBI Data
Woburn also posted big drops in motor vehicle thefts, which were down 37.5%, and burglary, which fell 17.8%, between 2015 and 2016.

WOBURN, MA -- Violent crime dropped by nearly 8% in Woburn between 2015 and 2016, according to uniform crime reporting data released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation earlier this month. Woburn also saw big drops in reports of in property crimes, which fell 5.71% between 2015 and 2016.
The FBI has been collecting Uniform Crime Reporting data from law enforcement agencies across the United States since 1930. The data is used to gain offer a comparison from year to year and community to community in a wide range of violent and property crimes.
