Waste Management Offering Scholarships To Woburn Residents

The trash hauler is partnering with the Woburn Board of Health to offer three, $1,000 scholarships.

WOBURN, MA -- Just in time for graduation season, the city's trash collection contractor is partnering with the Woburn Board of Health to offer three, $1,000 scholarships to qualifying Woburn residents. Applicants must be a Woburn resident and enrolled in a two-year or four-year university or college, a trade school or the U.S. Military. The deadline to apply is July 31.

To apply, please send your name, address, contact telephone number and confirmation of enrollment in the any of the above-mentioned higher education institutions to Waste Management Scholarship, c/o Mayor Scott Galvin, 10 Common Street, Woburn, MA 01801. Winners will be drawn at random from the pool of qualifying applicants on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
