Winchester Man Killed by Bulldozer in Phillipston

The man was working for Woburn-based Tro-Con Corp. at the time of the accident.

PHILLIPSTON, MA—Paul Troisi, 60, of Winchester was killed after a bulldozer backed over him while working at a Phillipston town park on Wednesday.

According to spokesman Tim Connolly of the Worcester County District Attorney's Office, Troisi was pronounced dead at the scene. Troisi was working for Woburn-based Tro-Con Corp., which was hired to build a park behind the Phillipston Police Station.

Connolly told Patch that the situation is believe to be a workplace accident. However, the case remains under investigation by state police assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney's office.

According to an obituary from Costello Funeral Home, A funeral mass for Troisi will be held at St. Mary's Church Tuesday.

Tro-Con Corp. did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
