Woburn Coronavirus: City Breaks Down Cases By Gender, Age
The city has 136 total cases, as of Wednesday afternoon. The city began breaking them down demographically this week.
WOBURN, MA — The majority of Woburn's confirmed coronavirus cases are women, the city reported in demographic data released this week. Residents aged 30 to 59 make up the bulk of the cases by age.
The city released demographic breakdowns for 114 cases as of Monday. As of Wednesday afternoon, there are 136 total cases. Fifty-six are active cases, while five residents have died. The remaining have recovered.
Of the 114 cases that the city breaks down demographically, 60 are women, 50 men, and four unknown. Sixty-six cases are 30- to 59-year-olds. Only 14 cases are 29 or younger, while 11 cases are over 80.
