Woburn Firefighter Makes the Grade
A new Woburn firefighter graduated the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in Stow.

Firefighter Chad E. O’Clair can count himself among the alumni of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s 224th class, according to a missive from the institution.
The 45-day program for new recruits took place in Stow, Mass., and also included students from departments in Billerica, Clinton, Contuit, Dracut, Dudley, Hudson, Hyannis, Ludlow, Mashpee, Maynard, Methuen, North Reading, Peabody, Plymouth, Taunton, Weston, and Wilmington.

Like the other graduates, O’Clair is now certified in the National Fire Protection Association’s 1001 national standards, and the Massachusetts Fire Training Council’s hazardous materials first responder operational level.
