Sex Trafficking, Armed Robbery: Woburn Grand Jury Indictments

Four people were given grand jury indictments for their Woburn-related activities, including armed robbery, human trafficking and assault.

District Attorney Marian Ryan announced on Tuesday indictments that were handed down between March 7 and March 23, 2017. Four cases with Woburn ties were announced. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Elizabeth Brito, 33, of Lawrence, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault with a dangerous weapon, and mayhem. The Assistant District Attorney is Jason Chandler.
Eric Guerriero, 27, of Saugus, was charged with armed robbery and stealing by confining or putting a person in fear. The Assistant District Attorney is Jason Chandler.
Ulkys Martinez, 40, of Lawrence, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault with a dangerous weapon, and mayhem. The Assistant District Attorney is Jason Chandler.
Charles Steed, 32, of Boston, was charged with trafficking of a person for sexual servitude and procuring a person to practice prostitution. The Assistant District Attorney is Carrie Spiros.
