Two Ambulance Calls To Woburn Memorial HS Not Drug Related
Contrary to earlier reports, the ambulance calls at Woburn Memorial High School Friday were not drug related.

WOBURN, MA -- A student was transported by ambulance from Woburn Memorial High School around 11 am Friday morning. Citing HIPAA privacy regulations, a police spokesperson could not give additional details on that or an earlier ambulance call to the school but said that neither incident was drug-related as previously reported.
Students were held five minutes in between class periods so public safety personnel could clear the area. The student in the earlier incident returned to class, police said.
The erroneous reports about the incidents being drug-related came from three separate parents and were subsequently spread on social media. Woburn Patch has reached out to Woburn Public School officials and will update this story if more information becomes available.
