Woburn Host Lions Club Halloween Parade: Schedule, Route, Donations and More

The annual parade is almost here. Here is your complete guide to the parade festivities.

WOBURN, MA — The 62nd Woburn Host Lions Club parade is nearly upon us. "Parade Sunday" will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30. According to the Woburn Host Lions Club's parade website, over 80,000 people gather along Main Street to take in the parade.

Schedule

The parade steps off at Crone Plaza/Showcase Cinema at 1 p.m., and takes about 1.5 hours to walk the route from end to end.

Route

The parade begins at the Crowne Plaza/Showcase Cinema at 1 p.m. and travels south on Main Street to Woburn Center.Then, the parade continues onto Lake Avenue at the Winchester Line ending at Horn Pond. The entire parade route is 2.2 miles long.

Donations

The Woburn Host Lions Club uses the parade to raise money for the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund. The organization is still shy of the $50,000 needed to put on the event. You can send your donation to the following address:

Road Closures

According to Woburn Police, Main Street from the Rte. 128 Rotary to the Winchester Line will be closed beginning at 12:30 p.m. No traffic will be allowed to cross Main Street.
