The Woburn Host Lions Annual Wine and Food Tasting is a must attend event. For the 10th year this event features tasting over 50 wines from vineyards located all over the world. Enjoy sampling menu items from popular area restaurants. WPMC's Easy Gourmet will provide culinary exhibits throughout the evening including his crowd favorite seared scallops . Beer sampling from local breweries will also be available. Enjoy live entertainment by MaryBeth Maes.

Organizer of Woburn Host Lions 10th Annual Food and Wine Tasting

The Woburn Host Lions Club is proud to be a chapter of Lions Club International. Lions are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually impaired. This service began when Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness" during the association's 1925 international convention.

Today, in addition to their international SightFirst program, Lions extend their commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts.

Lions are also involved in a variety of other activities to improve their communities and help people in need, such as assisting the hearing impaired, providing diabetes awareness and education materials, working on environmental projects and developing youth programs.

The Woburn Host Lions Club is a group of men, with diverse backgrounds and jobs, who join together to raise funds to make those who are less fortunate than ourselves lives better. We get together weekly for dinner on Thursday nights, where we catch up on each others lives, but, equally importantly, plan and execute various fund raisers that we use to help people.
