Woburn Man Arrested in Connection with Stabbing Outside of Restaurant

WOBURN, MA — A Woburn man was arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing just outside of Jake 'N Joe's early Friday morning, Police Chief Robert Ferullo announced Friday night.
James Lyons, 36 was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection with the alleged stabbing. Police responded to Jake 'N Joe's on Friday morning and discovered a man suffering for what appeared to be serious stab wounds.
"This case is a prime example of strong investigative work by detectives who were able to apprehend a violent felon within 18 hours after the incident," Ferullo said in a statement.

The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries. The incident is under investigation.
