Woburn Man Named New Principal at Minuteman School
John Dillon, of Woburn, is newly in charge of Minuteman Career and Technical High School in Lexington.

After spending nine years as Minuteman High School’s assistant principal, John Dillon III, of Woburn, has been upped a tier, and now reigns as Minuteman’s principal, according to a report from the Daily Times Chronicle.
He has also clocked in four months as the vocational school’s interim principal.
“I have wanted to be a principal since I was in high school,” Dillon, who has worked in education for a quarter-century, told the source. “As a goal oriented person, it’s something I have always focused on and I’m very happy it’s finally become a reality.”

The Chronicle reports 34 other educators applied for the position.
Minuteman High School is based in Lexington, and teaches students from Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord,Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland, and Weston.
