Woburn Man Ordered Held in Stabbing at Jake n JOES
BREAKING: The man was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing another man in the neck in the Jake n JOES parking lot on Mishawum Road.

WOBURN, MA — The Woburn man who was arrested for allegedly stabbing another in Woburn Friday morning was ordered held Monday pending the results of a 58A dangerousness hearing.
According to the Middlesex County district attorney's office, James Lyons, 36, of Woburn was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection with the stabbing of a 31-year-old Woburn man in the parking lot of Jake n JOES on Mishawum Road in Woburn. The victim remains in an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
According to the district attorney's office, both Lyons and the victim left the restaurant when it closed at 12 a.m. Friday morning when a heated argument and shoving match allegedly ensued.

The district attorney's office says that during the altercation, Lyons allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim and left him with apparent wounds in his neck.
Lyons later allegedly fled the scene and was arrested by Woburn and State police officers late Friday night at a residence in the city.

Lyons will appear in court for a 58A dangerousness hearing set for Aug. 29.
