Woburn Names New Police Chief

Friday was Ferulo's last day as Woburn Police Chief, a post he assumed in 2011.

WOBURN, MA -- The city named Robert Rufo, a captain who replaces Robert Ferullo. Ferullo retired Friday after 38 years with the department. He had been chief since 2011.

Rufo has been with the department for three decades, according to the Daily Times Chronicle, which first reported this story. He also is on the board of directors of the McKeown Boys & Girls Club.
