Woburn Patch 2016 General Election Voting Guide

WOBURN, MA – This election day, you have some important decisions to make. You handle who to vote for, we'll give you everything you need to get into the voting booth.

Who/What's on the ballot:

Aside from the four presidential candidates making national headlines, here are some of the other notable names and items on the ballot.

• Congresswoman Katherine M. Clark is running unopposed, as is Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, State Rep. James Dwyer and Sen. Ken Donnelly.
• There are four questions on the ballot this year: Slot licenses, charter schools, free-range chickens, and recreational marijuana. Read our rundown on the ballot questions here.

Voting Schedule

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. If you make the line by 8 p.m., you're allowed to vote.

Some people chose to vote early this year. Massachusetts allowed early voting for the first time from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4.

• Ward 1, Precincts 1 and 2: Joyce Middle School Gymnasium, 55 Locust St.
• Ward 2, Precincts 1 and 2: Shamrock Elementary School Gymnasium, 60 Green St.
• Ward 3, Precincts 1 and 2: Hurld Elementary School Gym, 75 Bedford Road
• Ward 4, Precinct 1: Wyman Elementary School Cafeteria, 679 Main Street at Eaton Ave.
• Ward 4, Precinct 2: White Elementary School Gymnasium, 36 Bow Street
• Ward 5, Precincts 1 and 2: Goodyear Elementary School Gym, 41 Central Street.
• Ward 6, Precincts 1 and 2: Altavesta Elementary School Gymnasium, 990 Main Street.
• Ward 7, Precincts 1 and 2: Reeves Elementary School Gymnasium, 240 Lexington Street.
