Woburn PMC Kids Ride

Kids ages 3-13 welcome to participate

The Pan Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) is the largest athletic fundraising event in the country. The first weekend in August, over 6,000 cyclists will bike from Sturbridge to the tip of the Cape, raising millions of dollars for cancer care and research. Every dollar donated goes to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The PMC also encourages communities to organize PMC Kids Rides This year, the Woburn PMC Kids Ride will take place at Reeves Elementary School on Sunday, June 11. Kids from 3-13 will ride courses around the school yard beginning at 9 am.Every PMC Kids Ride provides kids a fun time, and an opportunity to engage in philanthropy. Kids also learn the value of working for the benefit of others, and the value of physical fitness and healthy activity.

Those over the age of 13 are welcome to volunteer to help with the ride. Volunteers are needed to register, set up, pass out snacks and water, monitor the bike routes and help with clean up.
