Woburn Public Library to Host CSI Lecture

Do you want to learn more about crime scene investigation? Here's what you need to know.

WOBURN, MA — The Woburn Public Library has a really cool event planned for those who are interested in learning about crime scene investigation.

Mike Cross, a professor of chemistry and forensic sciences at Northern Essex Community College, will be discussing the myths and realities of crime scene investigations. Topics discussed will include the strengths and limitations of modern forensics, and attendees will have the chance to test their own skills at crime solving.

Cross, who is also the department chair of Natural Sciences at Northern Essex Community College, incorporates demonstrations and magic tricks into his teaching.
