Woburn Public Schools 2016 Winter Vacation Dates

2016 is coming to a close, and that means students will have some time away from school. Here are some important school dates to know.

WOBURN, MA — The kids probably can't wait, but you sure can. Here's some important school dates to know about going forward this winter.

According to the Woburn Public Schools Calendar, students will have a half-day on Dec. 23. The high school will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., the Middle Schools at 12 p.m. and the elementary schools at 12:30 p.m. Obviously, students will be off the following week.

New Year's Day is the following Sunday, so it is being observed on Monday, Jan. 2. Students return to school Tuesday, Jan. 3. Elementary schools will have an early release on Jan. 3

All in all, the students will be off starting on Dec. 24 and will return to school Jan. 3.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will have students off on Monday, Jan. 16.
