Woburn Recreation Summer Kids Painting Classes

Join Creative Juice instructor’s Julie Dowd and Suzanne Fee for an art experience that is suited to anyone who has never picked up a paint brush. We are offering 4 different paintings this summer for children ages 7 and up! Check out the descriptions of the classes. Pictures of each painting can be found on our website.

Eiffel Tower (Ages 7+)

Oooh la la! This is one of our most vibrant paintings! This popular painting is a mix of abstract art and architecture. Participants will paint the Eiffel Tower against a bright and modern background. Each painter can add optional details to their painting for an individual twist. Participants will be led through the painting step by step with easy to follow instructions in a fun and relaxed environment. No prior experience necessary.

When: July 16th

Where: Goodyear Elementary Art Room

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Daytime or Nighttime Owl (Ages 7+)

Whooooo’s ready to paint? Come create an owl painting using your own color scheme and design details. Make the owl in a nighttime or daytime scene. Use your favorite colors to paint your owl or match him perfectly to your bedroom- it’s up to you! Participants will be led through the painting step by step with easy to follow instructions in a fun and relaxed environment. No prior experience necessary.

Boston Skyline (Ages 7+)

Come paint our “wicked awesome” city! Painters have the option of creating a nighttime scene with the moon shining down on the Boston skyline or true Sox fans can easily turn the moon into a baseball and it becomes a tribute to our beloved home team! Participants will be led through the painting step by step with easy to follow instructions in a fun and relaxed environment. No prior experience necessary.

Twinkling Chandelier (Ages 7+)

What girl doesn’t need a chandelier in their bedroom? Come make one! This fancy schmancy painting is a lot easier to make than it looks! We guarantee friends and family will be impressed when you bring this one home! Participants will be led through the painting step by step with easy to follow instructions in a fun and relaxed environment. No prior experience necessary.
