Woburn Relay For Life Breaks $10k in Donations

WOBURN, MA—Relay For Life of Woburn has reached a fundraising milestone.
Relay For Life of Woburn announced Tuesday that it has broken $10,000 in donations. As of 11:09 a.m. Wednesday, the organization has totaled $10,248.49 in donations among 17 teams and 145 participants with proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society.

The organization also added that they are at 10 percent of their fundraising goal. The official Relay For Life event takes place on May 21 at Library Park Field.
Team We All Have an Angel leads donations with $3,820, followed by Kathy’s Kampers with $1,775 and Cushing Crusaders with $1,590.

Relay For Life told Patch that the first Team Captains/All Relayers meeting is scheduled for Thursday March 3 at Thompson Library located at 33 Elm Street.
Top donors include Denise Rodriguez, Arthur Cushing and Julie Schell. You can donate online or by mailing donations to American Cancer Society attn: RFL Woburn, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
