Woburn Reopens Pickleball And Tennis Courts As Restrictions Ease

The use of the city's courts will be heavily restricted, with measures still in place to control the virus's spread.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn's public recreation spaces began reopening Tuesday after over two months being closed: the city's tennis and pickleball courts reopened, in line with the state's phase one reopening plan.

The Pickleball Courts at Library Park, Ferrullo Field Tennis Court and Woburn High School Tennis Courts all reopened. The Pickleball Courts and High School Courts will only have two courts available.

The newly-opened courts remain restricted. Whenever social distancing is not possible, masks are still required. Hand washing is expected.
