Woburn Trojans Football 9U Team meets Mayor
9U Woburn Football Team met Mayor Concannon ahead of their big upcoming semi-finals game on their road to Nationals.
The 9U Woburn Pop Warner Trojans 2024 Division Champions met with Mayor Concannon ahead of their upcoming semifinals game.
The mayor met each player and wished the team luck for their upcoming semi-finals on Sunday, November 24 at 10 AM at Lampson Field in Billerica where they will play Stratford, CT. When they win there, they will play in Worcester, MA on November 30, and then advance to the national stage for the Pop Warner Super Bowl on December 7 in Orlando, FL.
It is a difficult feat to become Division Champions as they have. To come this far is such an accomplishment and an honor for the City of Woburn.

Mayor Concannon invited the players back for an update, and our tackle requested Mayor Concannon's autograph. Woburn Pop Warner would like to thank Mayor Concannon, Kristen Ahearn, Samantha Stone, Chris Kisiel and the entire mayor’s office for their graciousness during their visit.
