Woburn Woman Charged with Shoplifting Says She Stole Items for Her Kids
A Woburn woman was arrested for stealing from the Natick Mall, and says she took the toys and clothes for her children.

WOBURN, MA—A Woburn woman is facing shoplifting charges after admitting to police that she stole from several stores in the Natick Mall.
Jeanne Ciampa, 25, of Woburn, was arrested on Tuesday at the Gap, after police were called there on a report of a suspicious person, confirmed police spokesperson Lt. Cara Rossi to Patch.
Police during a search found items from the Lego Store, Bear Port and Roster, the items valued at $370. Ciampa told police she wanted to buy the items for her children, but didn't have the money for them.

Ciampa was charged with shoplifting by concealment and receiving stolen property under $250 (three counts). She will be arraigned on Thursday.
