Woburn Youth Hockey Bantams Win Division
The Woburn 1 team won the divisional playoffs of the Valley Hockey League last week.

The Woburn Bantam 1 hockey team won its divisional playoffs in the Valley Hockey League Sunday, April 3.
In the team's morning game, the bantams won in overtime 1-0 over Wilmington. Strong defense and goaltending were on display during the game.

In the finals that afternoon, the Woburn Bantam 1 team played to a 2-2 tie through regulation with Chelmsford. After a scoreless overtime, the teams went to a shootout. Woburn prevailed by scoring one goal in the shootout to Chelmsford's zero, for a final score of 3-2. Once again, timely defense and goaltending played a key, as well as many scoring chances by the offense.
