Woburn Youth Soccer Girls U12-4 Team Places Third
Woburn Youth Soccer Girls U12-4 took third place at the Peabody Youth Soccer tournament over Columbus Day weekend.

The Woburn girls U12-4 soccer team played in the Peabody Youth Soccer Columbus Day Tournament where they came in third place. Even though the team is in division 4 in their home league, the girls played in the division 2 bracket of the tournament.
After going 2-1 during round robin play on Saturday and Sunday, the team earned a spot in the semifinals on Monday. The semifinal game was a rematch against the same Peabody team that beat them in the round robin portion of the tournament. Despite their best efforts, the team fell in the semifinals earning third place. A strong showing for this team against tough and higher level competition.

The coaches and parents are extremely proud of the way the girls played and represented the city over the weekend. We wish them continued success for the rest of their season.
