14 Pink Flamingos Stolen from Yard: Police, and the Little League, Look for Thieves
A flock of plastic pink flamingos, part of a Little League fundraising effort, was stolen from a Sturbridge yard Sunday night.

STURBRIDGE, MA — On Sunday night, "something thought it was a good idea" to steal a flock of plastic flamingos from a front lawn in Sturbridge.
Police and the Sturbridge Little League are seeking information to find who stole 14 of the 22 pink flamingos in this flock.
The flamingos are part of a fundraising effort, in which those who donate get "flocked" by the Little League, with the plastic birds and a thank you placed in the yard until the next donation comes in.
"What is a true shame is that this is a fundraiser for the little leaguers of Sturbridge," wrote Sturbridge Little League on its Facebook page.
The plastic birds are valued at around $150, and the theft occurred at 124 Fiske Hill Road, reports MassLive Worcester.
The Sturbridge Little League Association is asking anyone who has seen anything or knows where the missing flamingos may be to let SLL know right away.
