2 Large Lottery Prizes Sold At Same Worcester Supermarket

WORCESTER, MA — Two large lottery prizes were sold this week at the same store in the city.
Both prizes, each for $100,000, were sold at Shaws Supermarket, at 14 W Boylston St. in Worcester, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. The winning tickets were sold separately on Sunday and Monday.
The prizes were won from the Mass Cash game and the Diamond Deluxe, respectively. The odds of winning prizes that big from those games are one in 324,000 and one in 84,000.

Nearby, a Shrewsbury woman won a $1 million prize from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game. She purchased the ticket at Turnpike Liquors, at 166 Boston Post Rd. in Shrewsbury.
