2 Men Robbed at Gunpoint, One Pistol-Whipped, Breaking His Teeth
Worcester police are searching for two suspects.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are searching for two suspects who robbed two men who were sitting in a parked car on Preston Street Sunday night.
On July 17, at approximately 11 p.m., Worcester police responded to the area of 4 Preston St. for a report of an armed robbery. According to the two victims, they were sitting in a parked car when two male suspects approached them. One of the men went to the driver's side door while the other approached the passenger's door. The suspect at the driver's side demanded cash, and punched him in the face. The victim told police he then got out of the car, and the suspect pulled out a gun and began to pistol whip the victim in the head. The suspect took the victim's cell phone and cash and when the passenger attempted to get out of the car in order to help his friend, the second suspect held the door closed.
The victim received a laceration to the back of his head, bruises and some broken teeth.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, mid 20’s to 30 years old, 5’8” tall, approximately 160-170 pounds, short hair. This suspect was the one in possession of the handgun. The second suspect was described as a black male, mid 20’s to 30 years old and heavy set.
The victim was treated at the scene by Worcester EMS and then transported to a nearby hospital. The victim was released later on in the day.

Several officers responded to the scene. A search of the area for the suspects produced negative results.
