25 Guns, Gun-Manufacturing Tools Seized After Raid At Worcester Home

The raid came after a lengthy multi-agency investigation into illegal firearm manufacturing and possession.

WORCESTER, MA — A man in Worcester is now facing charges after police found more than two dozen guns and other gun-making paraphernalia in his home on Thursday.

Police obtained a search warrant at a home on Pilgrim Avenue in Worcester after a lengthy multi-agency investigation into illegal firearm manufacturing and possession. While in the home, detectives found about 16 handguns, 7 rifles, and 2 shotguns.

Detectives also found 15 large-capacity magazines, 30 additional magazines, and 4 suppressors. Those items were in various stages of assembly or completion, police said.

Inside the home, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body armor, a 3D printer and tools for making firearms were seized by officials.

The Worcester Police Department Crime Gun Unit, Gang Unit, and EOP/SWAT, worked with the ATF and United States Postal Inspection Service to execute the warrant.

A man was arrested and will be arraigned in Worcester District Court. Police did not disclose the man's name.
