3 Arrested, 1 With Illegal Handgun Tucked Into His Waist, by Worcester Gang Unit

A Worcester man is facing charges of possessing an illegal handgun after one man with an outstanding warrant is spotted at Honey Farms.

WORCESTER, MA—After police spotted a man wanted on an outstanding warrant, it led to the arrest of three, one who allegedly tucked an illegal handgun into his waistband.

On Monday, July 4, around 7 p.m., members of the Worcester Police Gang Unit patrolled the area of Grafton and Orient streets. Police spotted a vehicle in the parking lot to the Honey Farms located at 353 Grafton St. Two men stood outside of the vehicle and one was seated in the back seat of the vehicle. Officers recognized one of the men standing as Albert Stebbins, 24, Almont Ave, Worcester. Officers were aware that Stebbins had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Officers approached the three and placed Stebbins under arrest for his warrant. Officers identified the rear passenger as William Wilson, 23, Sigel Street, Worcester, and the other male as Anthony Gonzalez, 27, Chicopee Street, Chicopee. A check on Wilson and Gonzalez revealed that they also had outstanding warrants for their arrest, and both were arrested.

During a search, police found a loaded .380 handgun on Wilson, which he had tucked into the waist band area of his shorts and was concealed by a T-shirt. He did not have a valid FID or LTC.

Along with the warrant, Wilson is being charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, and Possession of Ammo w/out an FID.

Worcester Police Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and recovered the firearm.
