3 People Shot In Worcester Over Weekend
The shooting broke out late Saturday night in the Union Hill neighborhood, according to police.
WORCESTER, MA — Three people were shot over the weekend in Worcester, and police did not immediately make any arrests in connection to the violence.
A police gunshot detection system sent officers to Providence and Harrison streets in the Union Hill neighborhood just after 11 p.m. Saturday. The officers found a 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman with gunshot wounds.
Later, a 30-year-old man appeared at a local emergency room with gunshot injuries. Police said all three had non-life threatening injuries.

The weekend incident was the most recent outbreak of violence reported by police since the Oct. 24 killing of Nawar Jabbar, 17. He was shot and died at the Wendy's along Park Avenue. Police did not immediately make any arrests in connection to the killing.
