Worcester health officials have been discussing a law requiring window guards to prevent such falls. The Worcester Board of Health in October held a lengthy discussion on the idea several months after a 2-year-old fell out the window of a home along Henchman Street. Worcester fire officials have pushed back on the idea, saying that it might endanger firefighters.
