WORCESTER, MA — The Worcester Public Library system is the latest part of city government to get hit by the coronavirus.

All branches will close until Dec. 21 after staff were exposed to the virus at one location. Thirteen library employees are under quarantine, and all branches will be cleaned as a precaution, a city spokesperson said Wednesday.

Dozens of city employees have either been exposed to or contracted the virus, including City Manager Edward Augustus Jr.
