WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester-based nonprofit is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with an exciting fundraiser.
FITCLUB Foundation, which provides free after-school programs, fitness experiences, and wellness resources to underserved youth in Worcester, is bringing back its Spin-a-Thon fundraiser. Community members, educators, local businesses, and supporters will come together and ride for a cause, with teams sponsoring bikes and raising funds to support FITCLUB.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Worcester Fitness.
The nonprofit said its goal is to fill 20 sponsored bikes, each representing a commitment to investing in the health and well-being of Worcester youth. The event will also feature wellness stations, local business involvement, raffles and community engagement.
FITCLUB said it will honor the individuals who have helped build and sustain the organization over the last decade, including its Board of Directors, dedicated trainers and key donors.
“FITCLUB was built on the belief that every young person deserves access to opportunities that support their health, fitness, and confidence,” said Jocelyn Coughlin, Founder of FITCLUB Foundation Inc. “This event is not only a fundraiser, but a celebration of the people, partnerships, and community that made the past 10 years possible.”
Community members and local organizations are encouraged to participate by sponsoring a bike, forming a team, donating raffle items, or contributing to the event in support of FITCLUB’s mission. You can find more information about how to donate here.
