WORCESTER, MA — Two lucky Massachusetts Lottery players won massive prizes after purchasing tickets in Worcester.
The winning tickets were purchased in the city this week. On Sunday, a $100,000 ticket was sold at Lincoln Discount Liquors on Lincoln Street, and on Monday, another $100,000 ticket was sold at a Family Farms location in the city.
The tickets were in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "MassCash" and "MILLIONS" games, respectively.
The state lottery commission did not share who won the prizes, but retailers that sell a winning ticket typically receive a bonus from the Lottery.
