WORCESTER, MA — A popular Mexican fast-food chain is set to debut its second location in the city this week.
Chipotle Mexican Grill will open at 105 Stafford St. on July 22. This comes after representatives of the business went before the city's License Commission earlier this year.
The eatery, best known for its customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls, will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The new location marks the chain's second location in Worcester. Right now, there is one opening at The Trolley Yard, 49 Park Ave.
Chipotle says customers at the new location will be able to order Chipotle Honey Chicken, a limited-time protein offering that returned to restaurants April 28. The item debuted in 2025 and became its best-performing limited-time offering.
Plus, the Stafford Street location will also ffer Chipotle’s Cilantro Lime Sauce, which launched for a limited time earlier this year. The sauce is a mix of fresh cilantro, lime and roasted jalapeños.
Chipotle is also promoting its High Protein Menu, which includes items ranging from 15 to 81 grams of protein. The menu includes the Double High Protein Bowl, High Protein-High Fiber Bowl, High Protein Cup and a Single Chicken Taco.
Chipotle is hiring for the Stafford Street location. The company's careers site lists openings for crew member, kitchen leader and service leader at 105 Stafford St.
Chipotle says its employee benefits include tuition assistance, a debt-free degree program, mental health care access, medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and an all-crew bonus program that can allow restaurant employees to earn up to an extra month of pay each year.
