Free French Fries At Worcester's Polar Park For Fan Weekend

WORCESTER, MA — A 43-foot kitchen on wheels will roll into Polar Park this weekend with free fries for WooSox fans.

Checkers' Fry Love Express will serve complimentary Famous Seasoned Fries before first pitch from Friday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 20 as part of WooSox Fan Appreciation Weekend, according to the company.

The truck will serve fries during the following hours:

• Friday, Sept. 18, from 3:05 to 6:05 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 19, from 1:05 to 4:05 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 20, from 10:05 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.

The Fry Love Express is a functioning mobile kitchen where workers fry, season and serve fries from the 43-foot truck.

The Polar Park stop comes several months after Checkers opened at 99 Gold Star Blvd., its first storefront in New England. It took over the former Honey Dew Donuts location, which closed in March 2025.

Checkers, the Tampa-based fast-food chain, merged with Rally's some years ago to form Checkers and Rally's. The chain is best known for its hamburgers, chicken, wings and seasoned fries.
