Military members, police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel and other service members can receive a free chicken tender combo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants must present a military ID or badge or be in uniform.

Other promotions during the event include three chicken tenders and three potato wedges for $3, as well as a chicken leg, thigh, and biscuit for $5. Free samples and giveaways will also be available while supplies last.

The new location serves Chester's menu of fried chicken, wings, tenders, biscuits and sides.

"For over 30 years, Yatco fuel stations have been serving our community," Yatco Category Manager Walter Thomas said in the announcement. "We're excited to bring Chester's to Yatco and give our customers another great reason to stop in."

Yatco, which was founded in Worcester in 1993, operates 20 convenience retail and fuel locations across New England. The company said plans are underway to open a second Chester's location at another Yatco store.
