WORCESTER, MA — Three people are facing a federal drug conspiracy charge following an investigation in Worcester County.
Richard Molina-Ovalle, 36, of Worcester, Zachary Riley, 30, of Leominster and Danielly Mancilla, 35, of Leominster were charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Massachusetts.
After first appearing in federal court in Boston last month, Riley was detained while Mancilla and Molina-Ovalle were released under court-imposed conditions.
Riley and Mancilla are accused of selling fentanyl to a confidential informant several times beginning in July, according to charging documents. Federal prosecutors say Molina-Ovalle supplied the drugs.
Authorities found the three defendants outside Riley's Leominster home on Sept. 10, prosecutors said. Molina-Ovalle was accused of having more than 400 grams of fentanyl in his vehicle.
Investigators also seized about 42 grams of fentanyl and 60 grams of cocaine from Riley's Leominster apartment, according to prosecutors. A search of Molina-Ovalle's Worcester apartment yielded about 31 grams of fentanyl and drug-packaging materials.
The conspiracy charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
