Auburn Mall Stabbing Was Caught On Camera: DA
Yohance Jones, 19, was arraigned Monday in connection to a stabbing that left a man in critical condition.

WORCESTER, MA — A man was arraigned Monday morning in connection to a stabbing Friday night at the Auburn Mall that left a man with critical injuries.
Yohance Jones pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault and battery. He was ordered held in jail pending a July 21 dangerousness hearing. He was arrested on Sunday evening by Auburn police, the department said.
The victim was stabbed around 6 p.m. Friday near the food court, and was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. According to prosecutors, the victim was stabbed in the feet, arms, torso and head.
Prosecutors said at the arraignment on Monday that a video recording of the incident showed Jones flash a knife at the victim before the stabbing.
The stabbing was the second violent incident at a Bay State mall in July. On July 3, a Boston man opened fire at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, leaving a 15-year-old girl injured.
