Child Hit By Motor Vehicle While Walking To School In Auburn: Police
A 9-year-old child was injured in the Tuesday morning crash, according to police.

AUBURN, MA — A 9-year-old child was struck by a motor vehicle Tuesday morning while on the way to school in Auburn, according to police.
The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The crash occurred at Oxford Street North and Inwood Drive.
Oxford Street was closed in the area while crash reconstruction took place. A drone unit was also assisting, police wrote in a Facebook post.
Police said they will provide an update when the road reopens.
"This accident happened as kids were headed to school. Thankfully this time the child will be physically okay… please let this be a reminder to pay extra attention while driving," police wrote.
