Complaints Lead To Drug Bust On Oread Street, Worcester
A number of complaints about a building on Oread Street leads to four arrests for heroin, cocaine.

WORCESTER, MA—Four are under arrest on drug charges after police surveyed a property in downtown Worcester recently.
On Wednesday, April 26, around 11:30 a.m., members of the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team were conducting surveillance of 14 Oread St, where the landlord of the property and several area residents had complained of cocaine and heroin being sold from this address. The building has a “No Trespassing” sign prominently posted.
A number of people came in and out of the building, according to police, and also spotted a gray Lexus SUV pull in front of the address. A female, later identified as 29-year-old Jessica Savankham, entered the building at 14 Oread and returned to her vehicle approximately a minute later. She then gave a small object to a man in the car, later identified as Kervins Eugene, 36, Ward Farm Circle.

Stopping the car, officers found a small amount of heroin on Savankham. Eugene, who was driving, didn't have a license, and both were arrested.
Officers continued to survey the property and saw a white man enter the address, leaving quickly, and putting a small object into his jacket pockets. Officers stopped him as he went to get into his car. As they asked the male to exit the car, officers saw a small “crack pipe.” As the male got out of the car, officers observed a small rock of crack cocaine dislodge from the pipe and land on the front seat. A search of the car revealed a plastic bag with more crack cocaine inside. The male, who was identified as Kevin Wade, twenty-seven years old Norwood Street, was placed under arrest.
