Crash Blocking I-290 In Worcester
The crash was reported near 7 a.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes.
WORCESTER, MA — A crash that had closed two westbound lanes of I-290 in downtown Worcester was cleared as of 7:30 a.m. The crash was first reported by MassDOT at around 7 a.m.
The crash happened near exit 13, which is the exit to Vernon Street and Kelley Square. Traffic was backed up as far north as exit 18 near Lincoln Street, according to MassDOT traffic maps.
