Essential Workers Can Get Free Daycare In Worcester

The Seven Hills Foundation is offering the service after an emergency coronavirus declaration by Gov. Charlie Baker.

WORCESTER, MA — The Seven Hills Foundation is now providing free daycare to parents who are considered essential workers during the coronavirus crisis.

On March 23, Gov. Charlie Baker signed an order funding free childcare for vulnerable children and the children of essential workers. The order gives priority to parents working in health care, law enforcement, human services, and other emergency service workers.

Here are more details about free daycare from the Seven Hills Foundation:

Two of our child care programs have been approved by the Department of Early Education and Care to open as emergency child care programs. Slots are available to any essential personnel looking for emergency child care and hours of operation for both centers have been changed to accommodate early shifts. This will remain in effect until April 6, and may be extended as needed. If you or someone you know meet the essential personnel qualifications and have exhausted all options for childcare, please contact:
